Diagnosis

Characteristics of Zealandotachina include: 1.Body size 4 – 10mm; 2. Parafacials bare or haired to about lower level of eye; 3. Parafacials at narrowest point not wider than postpedicel; 4. 2nd aristal segment as long as wide.

Distribution in NZ


North Island: AK CL, ND, TK, TO, WA, WN, WO. South Island: BR, CO, DN, FD, MB, MC, MK, NN, OL, SI, SL, WD.
