Survey on farming operations and farming households

UMR Research is to undertake a survey on behalf of Landcare Research.
Landcare Research has engaged UMR Research to undertake a survey on our behalf that aims to collect information about how farming operations and farming households operate their businesses across New Zealand.
There are questions about what type of farm you run, the enterprises involved, and your future plans. Our aim is to gather information to determine how a range of farm types are operated. The data will be used to help develop economic models of the farming sector as a whole.
Landcare Research have used UMR to ensure the confidentiality of your responses. This means that any answers you provide will be averaged across other farms with similar characteristics. These averages may be included in reports, but the reports will not include any personal information that would enable someone to trace your answers back to this particular farm. Therefore, your privacy and the confidentiality of your responses is guaranteed.
