Staff secondments

Our staff seconded to other agencies: ie the temporary posting of a particular staff member within another organisation (usually, though not necessarily physically), either part–time or full–time where the staff member’s activities are primarily focused on the objectives of the receiving organisation.
While a contractual agreement will usually exist between Landcare Research and the other organisation, the arrangement is not regarded as a regular commercial contract for services.
Excludes:
- staff on fellowships, sabbaticals or visitors simply collaborating on joint projects.
- part–time employees who happen to have a second job with another employer.
