BODY LENGTH: About 7.5 mm. COLOUR: Brown with smooth yelowish white outline on thorax and wing pads; abdomen yellowish white with reddish and/or brown points and brown markings (often crescent- shaped) along sides; antennae mostly brown to black (segments 1-2 often paler than 3-4). -

BODY LENGTH: About 9 mm. COLOUR: Head, thorax, wing pads greenish amber, heavily outlined with black (thorax often nearly completely black); antennae black; abdomen yellowish green with 3 large transverse black plates near midline and oblong dark amber/black markings along sides; legs dark. -

BODY LENGTH: About 7 mm. COLOUR: Dark brown nearly black; anterior corners of thorax extended towards eyes; thorax and wing pads with narrow pale brown outline; antennae dark brown to black, with segment 3 and base of segment 4 of paler brown. -

BODY LENGTH: About 7 mm. COLOUR: Mostly dark yellowish brown to chocolate brown; abdomen with two conpicuous yellow spots, one near inner side of each wing pad; segments of antennae often narrowly pale near tip. Note: Freshly moulted individuals may have a purple tinge.
