BODY LENGTH: About 16 mm. COLOUR: Brownish grey outlined with yellow, with scattered red spots; head, thorax with yellow mid line; abdomen with large dark plate; legs dark, hairy; antennae with narrow pale band at base of segment 5 only. THORAX: Sides without spines. SHAPE: Pear-like.

BODY LENGTH: About 12 mm. COLOUR: Marbled brownish black with metallic lustre; legs dark with broad pale middle band, not hairy; antennae with broad pale band across tip of segment 4 and base of segment 5. THORAX: Sides with spines. SHAPE: Broad, somewhat square.

BODY LENGTH: About 11 mm. COLOUR: Greenish; sides of thorax, wing pads, abdomen with pink outline; abdomen with white spots in two rows, one on each side of pink and black tranverse plates near midline; legs greenish with ‘feet’ black (tibiae often pinkish); segments 1-2 of antennae greenish (often pinkish), segments 3-4 black.
