New Release of Identification Key for New Zealand Weeds
Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research have relaunched their interactive key for the identification of weed species in New Zealand. The key contains over 650 weeds and over 10,000 images. Common weeds, environmental weeds, and all National Pest Plant Accord (NPPA) and Regional Pest Management Plan (RPMP) species are included. Significantly, this release fixes a major technical hitch: if you hit the “Run key” button it now works right out-of-the-box without the hassle of pesky Java installs.
