The design of your project depends on three things:
- The goal you want to achieve
- The resources you have available (time, budget, infrastructure)
- The skills you and your team can provide for:
- Project planning and coordination
- Counting and identifying birds in the field
- Processing, reporting and communicating the results
Don’t have all the resources or skills necessary? But still want to participate in a project?
- Other parties may be able to help by providing complementary skills or resources.
- Establish a partnership with other groups or organisations to work towards a shared goal.
- Explore whether you can contribute to an existing bird project in your area.
