We have maintained an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System since 1998. The external audit process assesses the way in which our organisation develops, implements and reviews our sustainability policy and environmental management processes and systems. Key elements are the structures, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources available and used. Key outcomes include annual internal audits of all Landcare Research sites, laboratories/ facilities, our corporate practices, and environmental safety in our science projects and field work.
